Computer Applications I

                                                This course provides hands-on experience using computers and commercial software packages. The commercial software currently utilized is Microsoft Windows XP operating system an Microsoft Office 2003 applications. The course is designed as an in-depth coverage of the software’s use in business environment. Topics include microcomputer system components, word processing, spreadsheets, record management, and business graphics. Basic keyboarding skills are recommended but not required. Additional lab work averaging 3 hours per week outside of class is required.
